I really love the Ribao twin pocket because I can face, sort, count 5K of currency in probably few minutes. Just run it then you have all the 5,10, and $20s together. Highly recommended!

Excellent Hardware

In 16 years I've had the same Ribao Coin counter at my tavern. It has never let me down. In that same time, I have gone through two "other" currency counters (we count a lot of cash). I switched to the BCS-160 and it is fantastic. This machine works exactly as advertised. If you need a sorter/counter, I highly recommend the Ribao BDC-160.

Great features for the money

I bought this machine to count CND currency and dollar bill, surprising that it counts both polymer and paper bills very well, even without adjustment. Different with other machine it has a dustproof cover, considerate design, low noise, really happy with the purchase! It saves so much time for sorting and mix counting at my business. I wished I had bought it earlier , prior to this machine I used a simple cash counter and didn't want to invest in such a cash counter. Yes, It’s a bit pricy but completely worth it if you have heavy duty cash.

Fantastic value if you need these features

One feature this unit has that even high-end bank machines don't is a reason list of each bill in the reject hopper, this is much handier then I thought it would be. Note the reject hopper is quite small and although is is possible to use the machine for facing you might be better served by larger bank grade machine. For my application with occasional rejects the small pocket is fine.Ask yourself if you really need a second pocket as that is what adds all the cost, complexity and weight to this machine. The single pocket machines are fine for sitting at a cashier, the double pocket really shines for sitting on a back desk processing 1000's of notes. Some high end features this unit has which I'll be using: Version sorting, which can separate new from old $100 bills. Serial number capture, you can print out a list of all of the serial numbers. The unit appears to be very sturdy, seems easy to open and service, and so far has performed as well as my Cummins Jetscan but at 1/5th the price and with more features. Support from the company seems excellent, I sent an email on a Sunday and got a reply within 2 hours. If you need 2 pockets AND the high-end features, I'd say this is not just an excellent choice but a bargain as well. If you don't need 2 pockets look at the single pocket Ribao's as they have the same processing features such as serial number capture in a more economical (and lighter) package. Note for a 2 pocket unit this model is very small compared to the equivalent bank machine. If you want to capture the serial numbers via computer this is easy to do, buy a RS232 to USB adapter and plug the RS232 end into the counter. You need a terminal program like putty set to capture and it will record all the number when you press the print key on the counter. There is a server program available which will capture all of the numbers without pressing print, but I wasn't able to get it to work (it would only work exactly once after starting it, so it would only capture one batch). Perhaps they can supply a new version of the server program sometime, but in the interim the capture method with a terminal program works fine.
